The Aliveness Project supports people living with and at the greatest risk of HIV through resources and direct services. Their mission is: to empower healthy, self-directed lives. The task was to create 3 informational flyers for the client, The Aliveness Project, that work together as a cohesive set. Each flyer contains information about a different topic or service that The Aliveness Project offers.
I started by narrowing down which three support services offered by The Aliveness Project I was going to highlight. I then moved on to exploring different layout options for the text and images. I wanted consistency across the three flyers so decided my layout design for each would be an image at the top, body copy in the middle, and logo/contact information at the bottom.. Having a different amount of body copy for each service determined whether I used a two or three column layout. I chose to use numbers and bullets to help organize each flyer in areas there were multiple points of information. By having consistency with font and color across the headers, sub-headers, and body copy it also unified the project.
